Some people think traditional games are better than modern games in helping children develop their abilities. 

To what extent do you agree?

I. DÀN Ý - STRUCTURE

1. Mở bài:

- Paraphrase đề bài.

- Đưa ra luận điểm cá nhân: Cả hai loại trò chơi đều có giá trị riêng, nhưng tôi tin rằng sự kết hợp giữa trò chơi truyền thống và hiện đại sẽ mang lại lợi ích tối đa cho sự phát triển của trẻ em.

2. Thân bài 1: Lợi ích của trò chơi truyền thống.

- Phát triển kỹ năng xã hội: Các trò chơi như nhảy dây, chơi ô ăn quan giúp trẻ tương tác trực tiếp, cải thiện kỹ năng giao tiếp.

- Khuyến khích vận động thể chất: Nhiều trò chơi truyền thống yêu cầu hoạt động ngoài trời, tốt cho sức khỏe.

Ví dụ: Chơi trốn tìm không chỉ thú vị mà còn giúp trẻ rèn luyện sự sáng tạo và tư duy chiến lược.

Thân bài 2: Ưu điểm của trò chơi hiện đại.

- Phát triển tư duy logic và kỹ năng công nghệ: Các trò chơi điện tử có thể cải thiện khả năng giải quyết vấn đề và sự nhạy bén với công nghệ.

- Kích thích trí tưởng tượng: Trò chơi nhập vai hoặc mô phỏng (simulation games) giúp trẻ sáng tạo trong các tình huống giả lập.

Ví dụ: Minecraft cho phép trẻ xây dựng và thiết kế, phát triển kỹ năng tư duy không gian.

3. Kết bài:
- Tóm tắt quan điểm: Cả trò chơi truyền thống và hiện đại đều đóng vai trò quan trọng trong việc phát triển toàn diện cho trẻ.

- Nhấn mạnh: Một cách tiếp cận cân bằng, kết hợp cả hai loại trò chơi, là cách tốt nhất để tối ưu hóa sự phát triển của trẻ.

II. BÀI VIẾT MẪU - SAMPLE

In today’s world, the debate between the benefits of traditional games and modern games in helping children develop their abilities continues to be a topic of interest. While traditional games offer significant advantages, I believe modern games also play a vital role in fostering children's development. A balanced approach that incorporates both types of games is the most effective way to support children’s growth.

Traditional games have been praised for their role in enhancing social and physical skills. Many of these games, such as hide-and-seek or hopscotch, encourage children to interact directly with their peers, helping them build communication and teamwork abilities. Additionally, traditional games often involve outdoor activities, which promote physical exercise and overall health. For example, playing games like tag or tug-of-war not only boosts physical fitness but also teaches children valuable lessons about cooperation and strategy.

On the other hand, modern games, especially digital ones, have their own unique benefits. Many video games are designed to develop cognitive abilities such as problem-solving, critical thinking, and adaptability. For instance, puzzle games or strategy-based games like Chess or Civilization require players to plan and make decisions under pressure, honing their logical thinking skills. Furthermore, modern games can introduce children to technology, an essential skill in today’s digital era. For example, creative games like Minecraft allow children to design, build, and explore virtual worlds, enhancing their imagination and spatial awareness.

In conclusion, both traditional and modern games contribute to children’s development in different but complementary ways. Traditional games excel in promoting social interaction and physical health, while modern games foster cognitive skills and technological proficiency. By integrating both types of games into children’s lives, we can provide them with a well-rounded foundation for their future growth.
